Swix's VP waxes are flourocarbon free and made for racing, although their excellent glide and grip properties make them fun for training as well. Each wax has two temperature ranges, one for new fallen snow with sharp penetrating snow crystals, and one for transformed older snow with more rounded crystals.

VP70 yellow klister-wax is designed for moist and wet, new snow. You can also use it in moderately transformed snow until just below the freezing point. Very wet new snow or coarse transformed snow will require klister.
